Mashable Meetup

Mashable.com has named this Wednesday, June 30th, “Social Media Day.” To promote the day, Mashable has promoted the “holiday” by suggesting that cities around the world host their own local social media meetup. Through Meetup.com, there is now 569 meetups slated for the day.

Search for one close to you.

I will be attending and speaking at the Fort Lauderdale meetup at the Whiskey Tango. While I don’t have anything prepared for the talk, I believe I will be talking about how social media has changed the music industry. It should be a fun little get together.
