Social Media Trolling: The Home Depot

Last week, I tried to garner a social response from The Home Depot. For the first time in this column, it worked. The company immediately responded on Twitter (but not Facebook). Here's what it all looked like:


Although they answered my initial question in the same silly tone which the question was asked, they failed to continue the discussion after I followed up with the following:


The Home Depot ultimately passed the initial test, but I would have liked to see them really let loose and have fun with the conversation for a little longer.
