There is a reason the work that you do is called “business.” It is supposed to take the majority of your time. It’s something that most already know, but is still often overlooked. You must hustle all the time to be successful. You must put in 100% effort no matter what. Any time spent not doing so is a financial loss.
A good way to hold yourself accountable is to pretend you were someone you personally hired. Are you being efficient enough to justify how much you are being paid? If not, you’re wasting yourself money.
Yes, time is money….
But more importantly, wasted time is wasted money.
