Global Domains

What better way to stop domain squatters from extorting money from big brands than to work around their nonsense.

The unveiling of freeform TLDs (top-level domains) is nothing new, but their expansion into the global internet certainly is.

I've been writing about domain names for quite some time now, but it's important to note that I've always felt the lack of language diversity was a problem.

Most recently, a few Asian countries have introduced their own non-Latin domain names.

Thanks to ICANN for expanding these options and making it easier to be more relevant to visitors at home and abroad.
