My Atlanta Braves… :(
Earlier this week, things looked promising. The Atlanta Braves were running a 7 game winning streak and only trailed the Colorado Rockies by 2 games for the NL Wildcard. With a somewhat lighter remaining regular season schedule, I genuinely felt that the Braves could continue to ride the streak into a playoff berth.
Now it’s Friday, and after a horrible rest of the week, the Colorado Rockies clinched the NL Wildcard last night. Words can’t express my disappointment. Bobby Cox better be back next season along with a healthy and much improved Chipper Jones.
I’m still greatly looking forward to the MLB Playoffs next week. Who is your pick?
